Humming Birds

Everyone is fascinated watching these tiny aerial acrobats as they dart about and effortlessly hover as they feed. In these photos I used very fast shutter speeds (1/1600 to 1/2500 second) to freeze the motion of their rapidly beating wings. Click on the individual photos below to get a larger view.
