Comae Berenices & Corona Borealis

KPP 1714 in the constellation of Coma Berenices is a physical system of nearly equal 13 magnitude stars. also of interest in the field-of-view is the Hot Blue Subdwarf star HIP 61602. Hot Blue Subdwarfs are believed to be the result of a late stage red giant star whose outer hydrogen layers has been stripped away by some mechanism (several have been proposed) leaving an almost pure helium core.
